I listen to the radio ( like once a month tops) and i hear all this crap rap thats been flowing through your ears and i wanna cry.The Roots are a dying breed no thanks to bros like Soulja Boy and other meaningless rappers.The Roots are Hip Hop all the way through from top to bottom. What you get in this album is exactly what you expected from The Roots. Lyrics that mean something with a chillwave that you can vibe too. I would make this a Buy situation only because they are real hip hop, other wise if you just want to bootleg it go for it. THE ROOTS WELL ALWAYS BE LEGIT

This album might be in the Top 3 that he ever made. Shit is fireballs never the less. Pitchfork gave him a 2.3... come on Pitchfork !! I'm not a rapper but i know i can produce a CD quality of 2.3. This is Eminem we are talkin about the same dude that will destroy you verbally if you cross him. I don't know what Pitchfork was thinking but they fuckin up! The  beats on this album are on point (Dre isn't all over it this time).  Few bangers produced by Dj Kahlil with a few features by Pink, Dre and Lil Wayne to name a few. This album is fire and is definitely a go buy situation. Don't be gay like pitchfork and give him a bad review cause hes not talkin about pulling nine inch nails through each one of his eyelids . Mr. A-Trak came out with a down south  mix up. Seeing that i hate down south music ever so much i was very shaky on getting this one. Why do i hate down south music you might be asking? Thank you for what Drake Degrassi? The album is solid but i don't agree on the review Pitchfork gave him. I listened to the Cd and it was all right not every track on that thing is a banger. I skipped through a few tracks cause i though he was trying to be to indie. A lot of rappers are trying to cross over to a new style of rapping. Don't get me wrong Drake's Cd is legit but stick to hoes, cars, and money..lets not forget about selling drugs a great message for the youth don't you think? I thought this was a free download situation  ( which i did). Good features like that black Barbie chick and some other bros. Grab this one he got punch lines for days ill give him that. PS is Drake trying to be a R&B singer cause he was Luther vandrossing all over the cd.

The Cool Kids came out with a new mixtape called  "Tackle Box". Okay. This CD isn't as great as "Gone Fishing" but what do you expect from a bro DJ named DJ Sour Milk?! Hes no Drama thats for sure. The beats don't knock like gone fishing but the flow from Mr. Mikey Rocks and Sir Chuck Inglish are all so good. I find myself listening to "Strawberry Girl" a lot. I had high expectations for these young blipsters but i guess i shouldn't of seeing that a wack DJ did the production. It's not their fault its DJ sour dough fault!! Get this cd just cause your a fan its a solid album.

You people need to get up on this !! Phantogram is legit as i don't know what. The track "when i was small" is fireballs plus and Mario star ( you cant touch that shit you will die you goomba). I mean they are not well known but the best bands aren't. They are from Saratoga springs so you gotta love your local artists. The album is called "Eyelid Movies" and every track on the beast is good. Maybe its just me i have a thing for female lead singers. These are my dudes forsure. whoever broke the lead singers heart thanks cause so many people can relate to their tracks. The album "Brothers"  has a rock, blues type of feel to it.
